New Magazine Article: Upgrade your Humble Postbox with Push Notifications

By August 23, 2018 No Comments

HackSpace issue 10 is published today, featuring my article showing how to rig up a magnetic reed switch to your postbox and feed it into a tiny little Raspberry Pi Zero in order to get a push notification on your phone each time the flap is opened and the postman (or woman…) has been.

The magazine is available in all good newsagents or you can download the free PDF from the HackSpace website at https://hackspace.raspberrypi.org/issues/10

Update, 17th October 2018: This project was also featured in Volume One of “The Book of Making“!

Featuring one of my builds!
