How to Turn your Laptop’s old Hard Drive into a Portable External Drive after installing an SSD

In this short video, we show you how to take the old hard drive from your laptop and install it into its own caddy so that it can be used as a portable external storage drive. This means that you can use a smaller capacity (and therefore cheaper) SSD for Windows and your programs, but store all of your data on a portable drive.
